  The maglocks are certified by Taiwan’s Industrial Safety Technology Institute (ISTI) following
  IEC standards with the following standards:
  • EC 60079-0: 2017 – General Requirements for Explosive Atmosphere Equipment.
  • IEC 60079-18: 2014 – Protection by Encapsulation “m” (isolates the internal
  electromagnetic coil from hazardous gases/dusts).
  • IEC 60079-31: 2022 – Protection by Dust Ignition Enclosure “t” (prevents ingress of
  combustible dust particles and limits surface temperature).
